This episode of Pure Imagination was full of inspiring women educators and activists. Rose Marie Raccioppi spoke about her work with the learning disabled. Margaret Riche and Camille Raneem update us on the Sit-In for Justice on September 2nd. All the songs played were by women artists. Yay!

We also featured sister Khadijan Shakur with her opinions on the Dominique Strauss Kahn trials, and her role in the Black Panther Party. Margaret Riche and Rich Deegan discussed the sit in on September 2nd and political prisoners. "Wild Man" Steve Brill talked about his work as a legendary park adventureer. We played songs by LCD Soundsystem, Lou Reed, and the Rolling Stones. Very Wild!
